My planning document for the 2026-27 graduate school application cycle.
Overview
I am applying to Computer Science Ph.D. programs, as well as a select few thesis-based M.S. programs. Broadly speaking, my research interests lie in robot navigation, with a deep interest in the algorithmic foundations of motion planning, control, and intelligence. I am particularly interested in the intersection of optimization, graph theory, and motion planning, and how mathematically rigorous formulations of these problems can be applied to highly dynamic and nonlinear robotic systems. I am drawn to research that prioritizes theoretical depth and robot systems that serve to benefit humanity.
